How image-to-PDF conversion works
FileKit embeds each image into a fresh PDF using pdf-lib. JPG and PNG sources are embedded directly without re-encoding, so quality is preserved exactly. WebP, AVIF, GIF, and BMP are decoded by the browser and re-saved as JPEG before embedding. Choose 'Auto' page size for one-image-per-page scans, or A4/Letter for printable documents. All processing runs locally in your browser.
