How SVG to PNG conversion works

SVG is a vector format — it scales to any size without losing sharpness. PNG is a raster format with a fixed pixel grid. FileKit renders each SVG in your browser at the chosen scale factor (1× to 4×), then captures the result as a PNG image. A 2× scale produces a PNG twice the native SVG dimensions, perfect for retina displays. Everything runs locally — your files never leave your device.

How to Convert SVG to PNG

  1. 1

    Upload SVG files

Drag and drop one or more .svg files into the upload area. You can also click to browse and select files from your device.

  2. 2

    Choose the output scale

Select 1×, 2×, 3×, or 4× to control the PNG resolution. 2× is recommended for most web and screen uses; 4× for print.

  3. 3

    Download converted PNGs

Each SVG is rendered as a PNG in your browser. Download files individually or grab all of them at once as a ZIP archive.
