What image formats can I resize?

Can I resize by percentage?

Yes. Switch to percentage mode and use the slider to scale from 10% to 200% of the original dimensions.

Will resizing reduce quality?

Downscaling (making smaller) is virtually lossless. Upscaling (making larger) adds interpolated pixels, which may look slightly softer. The high-quality interpolation algorithm minimises visible artefacts.

Can I set exact pixel dimensions?

Yes. Enter the exact width and height in pixels. With aspect ratio lock enabled, changing one dimension automatically adjusts the other.

Is there a maximum output size?

The tool supports up to 10,000 × 10,000 pixels. Very large outputs may take a few seconds depending on your device.

Will my images be uploaded to a server?

No. Everything runs locally in your browser using the Canvas API. Your images stay on your device.

Can I control JPG output quality?

Yes. For JPG inputs, a quality slider appears that lets you choose between smaller file size and higher visual fidelity.

Does it preserve EXIF data?

No. The Canvas API does not carry over EXIF metadata. If you need to preserve metadata, use a dedicated image editor.
