How SVG to PNG conversion works
SVG is a vector format — it scales to any size without losing sharpness. PNG is a raster format with a fixed pixel grid. FileKit renders each SVG in your browser at the chosen scale factor (1× to 4×), then captures the result as a PNG image. A 2× scale produces a PNG twice the native SVG dimensions, perfect for retina displays. Everything runs locally — your files never leave your device.
